Update 3 (9-24-2020)


The final build of the game is underway. Art has been implemented and it all meshes together very nicely. 

The last round of playtesting provided very constructive criticism and the feedback will be very beneficial for the last adjustments. One in particular had to do with the collectible food. Before, they were just green bushes. To the players, they seemed to just blend in as a part of the environment, and not an interactable object. I added berries to each one so now they should be apparent as food. I will also be adding either a light or particle effect to the beehive in order to draw attention to it as well. 

The colliders on the traps were adjusted to be a little smaller since they didn't exactly match with the sprites and were making it difficult for the players. In order to balance it out I added another trap in another area. Some players expressed not having any sense of direction, and so I blocked off the edges of the level with trees and added two additional arrows. 

The difficulty and progression were the most important to nail, and while it has been a process, I believe things are beginning to wrap up nicely. The final build will be out next week!
