Noah's Open Beta Feedback
So after taking feedback from our beta, my teammates and I learned a lot about what to do next with the game. We received a lot of feedback regarding instruction and what to do. As developers, we of course new what to do. However, many playtesters obviously did not know what to do. Therefore, our next step is adding instruction throughout the game to tell the players what they can do and hints to solve the puzzles. We also plan to add an NPC robot that will give instructions throughout the game. Some other work that I have already done is fixing some gameplay bugs as well as things that could just improve gameplay overall such as being able to move grabbed objects in every direction, not just left and right. We got a lot of good feedback though on art and controls. The art looked really good and controls were intuitive and easy to use according to playtesters. Sound also had decent feedback and any faults testers had, my teammate Jackson has already started addressing. I am so thankful for the feedback and for everyone who playtested. The feedback was great and is helping to continue to direct us in the right direction.
