Update (Jackson) (10-28-2020)
Our level layout/whitebox is complete and we have begun the process of developing our aesthetic and core mechanics! Our memory scenes were rescaled and are all now interconnected, and with the story we put together, the way the level plays out and the points at which scenes switch back and forth should make the entire experience feel engaging and cohesive.
I found some sound effects for our push/pull telekinesis abilities and created an idle hum for when the player is holding an object off the ground. These have not been implemented as the full spectrum of telekinesis is not complete yet, however they will be responsive once all of the kinks have been worked out. In place, there is currently an ambient track to serve as BGM. I haven't decided if I will keep it or replace with my own music, but it fits with what we've created so far.
Looking forward to the combination of Ian's art and my soundscape to craft our futuristic, eerie world, and our programmer Noah making it all happen will surely produce a worthwhile project that we can all be proud of. Stay tuned for more!
